Week of hiking to discover the variety of Biellese scenery… will spend the night in Oropa, the largest Marian Sanctuary in the Alps, UNESCO world heritage, at the foot of our mountains. You'll discover the natural park of Baraggia, a piece of the African savannah at the foot of the Alps, the Ricetto of Candelo, one of the best preserved medieval villages in Italy. You will walk in the woods of Serra, the longest moraine hill in Europe, visiting the Bessa, an old gold mine of Roman times and its lunar landscape, and Oasi Zegna, mountain park owned by the renowned brand Ermenegildo Zegna and the wild Valle Sessera, separating Biellese from Val Sesia and Mont Rose. It will be a week of discovery, relaxation, good food, also shopping, always accompanied by a Nature and Walking guide.
PROGRAM 6 NIGHTS/7 DAYS
Day 1: arrival at the Sanctuary of Oropa. Optional tour of the Sanctuary and the Sacred Mount of Oropa. Dinner and overnight stay in Comfort room model of the Sanctuary.
Day 2: breakfast. Meeting with your Nature & Walking Guides and walk in our mountains. Packed lunch on the way. The cable car is always available for those who want to shorten the hours of walking. Dinner and overnight stay in Comfort room model of the Sanctuary.
Day 3: breakfast. Meeting with your guide and other pleasant and air walk in our mountains with magnificent views of Monte Rosa. Packed lunch on the way. Always available to the cable car Oropa for those who want to shorten the hours of walking. Dinner and overnight stay in Comfort room model of the Sanctuary.
Day 4: breakfast. Meeting with your guide and transfer to Candelo, visit the famous Ricetto and easy and flat walk in the natural park of Baraggia. Packed lunch on the way. Return to Oropa, dinner and overnight stay in Comfort room model of the Sanctuary.
Day 5: breakfast. Meeting with your guide and transfer to Vermonio, home of the local Gold Panners Association and walk in the natural park and gold mine of Bessa. The walk continues along the ridge of the Serra, moraine hill that divides the Biella area from the Canavese. Lunch on the way. Return to Oropa, dinner and overnight stay in Comfort room model of the Sanctuary.
Day 6: breakfast. Meeting with your guide and transfer to Trivero, visit of Casa Zegna, museum and exhibition of the famous brand Ermenegildo Zegna. From Trivero, transfer to Bielmonte, for a walk in Oasi Zegna. Lunch on the way. Return to Oropa, dinner and overnight stay in Comfort room model of the Sanctuary.
Day 7: End of the tour.
Included: 6 full boards (including beverages) in double room Comfort type at the Sanctuary of Oropa, 5 full day Nature & Walking Guide, Casa Zegna tour.
Not included: transfers, cable car tickets, anything not mentioned in "Iincluded"
